Kibingo

Grown in the highlands of Kayanza near Burundi's border with Rwanda, Kibingo brings together the harvests of more than 3,500 smallholder farmers, each tending a small number of coffee trees on family plots.

Kayanza is widely regarded as Burundi's premier coffee-growing region, known for producing coffees with exceptional clarity and sweetness. After harvest, cherries are carefully fermented, sorted, soaked, and dried on raised beds to create a clean and expressive cup.
